My work

“Some people say there is no such thing as a Time Machine. But what is a time machine if not a photograph?”

About me

My name is Rob. Im a passionate photographer having owned a camera over 50 years. Working at a local brewing for 29 years I was turn on to capturing high-speed motorsports by a friend. From photographing drag racing and sprint cars to shooting major events like the Molson Indy and the Edmonton Grand Prix, I loved the excitement of being close to the action and seeing what the average racing can’t.

In recent years I turned to the heartwarming moments of canine life. A lifelong dog lover, I have been a devoted dog owner for 30 years and finds endless inspiration in the joy and companionship that dogs bring to everyday life.

Having initially honed my skills in motorsport photography, (believe it or not that it is easier photographing a car going 160 MPH then a dog chasing down a smell only they can smell) I transitioned to capturing the essence of dogs through the camera, focusing on the unique personalities, energy, and bonds they share with their owners. Whether photographing dogs in motion, play, or quiet moments, I love telling their stories through stunning, heartfelt imagery.

When not behind the camera, I enjoy exploring the woods behind our home with my Irish Setter named Hannah Four (she is our fourth setter named Hannah), appreciating the outdoors and the simple pleasure of a peaceful walk in nature. For me, photography is not just a profession—it’s a way of celebrating the lives of dogs and their special place in our hearts.

Capture Every Moment…

Dogs change rapidly from puppyhood to adulthood, and then to their senior years. Each stage brings new behaviors, quirks, and moments that are worth remembering. By capturing photos and videos, you create a timeline of their life, allowing you to reflect on and cherish these memories as time passes.

Your dog is a part of your family, and capturing their life can be a way to honor them, especially as they age. Having a collection of photos, videos, or even written memories allows you to keep their spirit alive, even after they are gone. It’s also a beautiful way to share their story with others, whether through social media, photo albums, and wall art. Their images will bring a smile to your face even when you are having a bad day.

“You may never realize the value of a MOMENT until it becomes a MEMORY”
